Join us for intermediate salsa on2 partnerwork training with Baila DC for six weeks on Thursdays, starting May 12th and ending on June 16th, 2022. No partner necessary!
Course Description & Attendance
This is an intermediate progressive 6-week course that builds on a strong foundation of timing and lead/ follow technique from the Advanced Beginner series, introduces additional footwork and partnerwork combinations, focuses on proper lead and follow technique, transitioning smoothly from one movement into another, and introduces spin preparation, back spot turns, and simple copa variations.
Note: Having a thorough understanding and comfortable execution of concepts from our Advanced Beginner class is strongly recommended before enrolling in the Intermediate Series.
*This course is sold in a 6-week package and will not accommodate drop-ins on a random basis. We recommend that students attend each weekly class as the lessons are progressive and will build upon the previous week.
COVID Policy
Due to COVID-19 and the nature of partner work dance classes, we are currently enrolling students that pre-register in advance and are fully vaccinated. Please have a copy of your vaccination card handy for the first day of class.
Masks are optional for those that would like to wear them. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and for helping us maintain a safe environment. We will also have disposable masks and hand sanitizer available.

La Cosecha is a contemporary market celebrating Latin American culture and conversation through authentic flavors, art, and heritage. Dance classes and open dancing will be held in Balcón, a wood-floored mezzanine level space overlooking the market. There are also several restaurants and kiosks offering great food and drinks.
