FRANCISCA OVIEDO

This exhibit features dynamic abstract painting works by Chilean artist Francisca Oviedo. Francisca’s work is primarily mixed media on canvas.

The “Post Primavera” exhibit is the result of work executed by the artist during the spring seasons of 2021 and 2022.

Exploring her emotions through colors and textures, Francisca wants to evoke happiness and positivity in the viewer, as a way to celebrate life after the difficult times we’ve had to experience. By applying layers of paint, collage, textile, and sewing patterns, she builds forms by giving and taking away.
